The Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in nursing (Master’s preferred). Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Willing to obtain registration with other provincial nursing colleges. Minimum of 10 years’ progressive leadership experience in healthcare, preferably within Long-Term Care and/or Continuing Care environments. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. REPRESENTING MORE THAN 47,000 MEMBERS , the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) is the professional organization responsible for establishing standards for the training, certification, and lifelong education of family physicians and for advocating on behalf of the specialty of family medicine, family physicians, and their patients. The CFPC accredits postgraduate family medicine training in Canada’s 18 medical schools. The CFPC is seeking a respected family physician leader to provide independent oversight of administrative reviews, reconsiderations, and decision-making activities across the Professional Standards and Certification (PSC) in Family Medicine Division. Administrative Reviews Director Reporting to the Executive Director, Professional Standards and Certification in Family Medicine, the Administrative Reviews Director serves as an impartial safeguard that promotes procedural fairness, consistency, transparency, and integrity in the application of standards, policies, and processes related to certification, accreditation, assessment, and professional development.
