At Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), our inspiring team of 4500 skilled employees, physicians and volunteers provide exceptional patient care every day, including highly specialized services such as Cardiac, Stroke, Oncology, Neonatal Intensive Care, Child & Youth Mental Health and more. RVH was also recently designated as a Level III Trauma Centre.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer, the Director, Growth and Business Development will lead initiatives that strengthen organizational sustainability, drive enterprise growth, cultivate strategic partnerships, and advance innovative revenue and funding opportunities. Working across healthcare, academia, industry, government, philanthropy, and community sectors, the Director will identify and advance strategic collaborations, innovation-enabled initiatives, and other purpose-aligned ventures that support RVH's ‘Vitally You’ strategy.
The successful candidate will bring progressive senior leadership experience in business development, strategic partnerships, commercialization, and enterprise growth within healthcare, academia, life sciences, or another complex and highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate success in building high-value relationships, advancing cross-sector collaborations, leading strategic growth initiatives, and identifying sustainable revenue opportunities.
An entrepreneurial and collaborative leader, the Director will possess exceptional negotiation, communication, strategic planning, and financial management skills. Familiarity with healthcare innovation, academic health systems, and applied research collaborations is considered an asset. A graduate degree in business, healthcare administration, public administration, commerce, or a related discipline is required.
