Arnprior Regional Health (ARH) is a fully accredited, integrated healthcare organization serving communities throughout the Ottawa Valley. Located approximately 55 kilometres west of Ottawa, ARH delivers a broad continuum of care through the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital, The Grove Long-Term Care Home, and a range of community-based programs and services. With more than 300 staff, a dedicated physician group, nearly 200 volunteers, and over 140 beds across acute and long-term care, ARH is recognized for its commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care close to home while working collaboratively with healthcare partners to meet the evolving needs of the communities it serves.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President and Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership to ARH as the organization enters an important next chapter. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a respected and community-rooted healthcare organization through the development and implementation of its next strategic plan, while advancing quality, service excellence, financial sustainability, workforce engagement, and system partnerships. ARH is seeking a leader who can balance strategic ambition with operational discipline. The President and CEO will help position the organization for long-term sustainability, respond to evolving healthcare needs and identify opportunities for innovation and service improvement. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful and visible impact in a close-knit community while helping shape the future of regional healthcare delivery.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished, collaborative and values-driven executive who brings senior leadership experience within healthcare or another complex, highly regulated environment. They will possess a demonstrated track record of organizational leadership, strategic planning, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and leading transformational change. The successful candidate will bring the credibility and relationship-building skills required to work effectively with physicians, staff, volunteers, Board members, government and health-system partners, and community leaders. They will be comfortable operating in an environment where collaboration, partnership and community presence are essential to organizational success. The successful candidate will bring sound judgment, strong business and financial acumen, and the ability to translate strategy into measurable results. They will foster a culture of accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement, while ensuring that quality, safety, patient and resident experience remain central to decision-making. Above all, the successful candidate will be a visible, authentic and engaging leader who understands the importance of community-based healthcare.
