Guelph General Hospital (GGH) provides emergency, inpatient and outpatient health care services for the 200,000 residents of Guelph and Wellington County. In 2025, GGH will celebrate its 150th anniversary of providing professional and compassionate health care.
Nestled in the heart of Guelph, GGH is a major employer in the area providing acute care services for residents of all ages. It includes the regional centre for Vascular Surgery and a Provincial Centre of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery.
Over 1,700 staff and nearly 400 physicians, midwives and dentists, as well as more than 175 volunteers offer a full range of health care programs and services for the community. GGH is accredited by Accreditation Canada with Exemplary Standing.
