Nestled in the heart of East Toronto, Michael Garron Hospital (MGH), as a keystone of the Toronto East Health Network (TEHN), is a vibrant 450-bed community teaching hospital serving one of Canada’s most diverse communities. Since 1929, we have delivered high-quality, patient-centred healthcare services to more than 400,000 people in 22 distinct neighbourhoods. By late 2022, MGH will celebrate the opening of our new Ken and Marilyn Thomson Patient Care Centre. This transformational project will forever change the hospital and the care it provides to our community in keeping our strategic vision to Create Health, Build Community.
