Manager, Patient Services
As the Manager, Patient Services, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and administration of the imaging clinics by managing, supporting, mentoring and developing the staff members who deliver health care services to our patients. Specifically, you will schedule, supervise and evaluate the daily activities of reception staff and ensure that our service meets/exceeds brand promises for patient experience and complies with quality standards, procedures and regulations. You will also be the point person and “face” of the organization with respect to referring physicians and their staff.
Main Responsibilities
• Oversee and coordinate daily activities of staff; who schedule appointments, who receive patients at the clinic and who provide support to the clinical and business activities of the organization.
• With the assistance of the three area lead hands, schedule shifts for support staff, address business process issues, handle patient concerns and gather and analyze patient and physician feedback.
• Oversee and coordinate processes, staff and operations of the central scheduling and support office.
• Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
• Implement policies and procedures related to front-end practice operations.
• Actively promote positive, healthy and safe work environment.
• Support the organization by providing quality service to patients and referring physicians in friendly and calm manner.
• Ensure that records are current, correct, complete, legible and traceable.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security of records and patient information.
• Travel to all clinics, observe staff and patient reception processes.
• Manage assigned business operations, collect and report on data.
• Receive and address any service complaints.
• Participate with others on Management Team.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
• Supervisory experience, ideally in health care operations
• Experience with workload scheduling and front-line management of staff
• Track record of delegating work, building teams and enabling people to thrive
• Excellent time management and mentoring skills
• Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs and social networking technology
• Positive attitude and willingness to improve skills and expand knowledge
• Ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and varying degrees of experience
