Our client, Pioneer Manor, is one of the largest facilities of its kind in Northern Ontario, serving residents 18 years of age and older who have long-term health care needs and who are no longer able to manage in independent living situations. Functioning under the auspices of the City of Greater Sudbury, Pioneer Manor is home to 433 residents who receive comprehensive, individualized and responsive care with 24 hours of supervision. A holistic approach ensures that all of the dimensions of personal care are considered, including the person's spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.

Under the general supervision of the Resident Care Coordinator and day to day direction of a Registered Nurse, the Registered Practice Nurse (RPN) provides complete Resident health care as directed and outlined in Pioneer Manor procedures. Full-time RPN opportunities (35 hours per week) are available on the 3-11 PM afternoon shift.
Candidates will be eligible for RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and will possess: Successful Completion of a Secondary School (Grade XII) Education; RPN Nursing School Graduate.
