We are a digital platform used by hospitals, long-term care homes and other health care organizations to identify vacant shifts in their schedule and fill shifts for multiple job categories quickly with qualified workers from our network of more than 10,000 pre-vetted health care candidates. We are used in health care organizations in Ontario and we are actively expanding into other provinces in Canada.

THE POSITION

We are looking for a passionate leader in health care to join the Staffy leadership team and lead the necessary partnership and client development to support the next phase of growth for Staffy.

The Head of Partnerships (Health), reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, serves as a critical team member and contributes to the overall strategic direction of the business. As Head of Partnerships (Health) you will identify growth opportunities; maintain, develop and advance strategic relationships and partnerships - largely with hospitals, public health units, long-term care homes, home care providers - to support business development and ultimately ensure satisfaction of our clients.

You will support our business development and leadership teams by identifying and bringing new clients onto the platform, working with our Customer Success team to ensure smooth implementation and ultimately serving as the liaison between health care organizations using Staffy and our team going forward. In this role, you will own the relationship with the client and ensure ongoing client satisfaction and service. This role will take ownership and creation of new account management processes, as well as develop new reporting and data driven approaches to client management. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the success and growth of Staffy by providing leadership and direction to the account management team/client success team.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the current health care environment and stay up-to-date on trends and issues in the sector Staffy can provide a solution for.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with current and potential Staffy clients at the executive level.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all new Staffy clients as they are adapting the Staffy platform.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth and timely implementation of Staffy solutions as well as ongoing success of the client and revenue.
  • Oversee the client’s account management, including supporting in negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Create new processes and procedures to clearly communicate the regular progress of initiatives both externally and internally.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (shifts filled, revenue generated etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with the business development team to support incoming new business and growth opportunities.
  • Be the executive level contact for any challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed. 

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Executive level experience in healthcare or healthcare-related industry is required.
  • Strong understanding of the health care system and current regulatory environment related to health human resources and procurement.
  • Extensive relationships with health care leaders.
  • Proven work experience as an account manager, sales account manager or relevant role.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and interact with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and client centered approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize and complete work activities to maximize efficient use of time and resources in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Able to engage in strategic discussions and inform decisions through evidence and experience in a collaborative setting.
  • Self-motivated and action oriented - able to accomplish objectives and exceed expectations with a can-do attitude and an appetite for a startup environment.
  • Must be open to working from the office located downtown Toronto (Hybrid Model).
