HSN is currently seeking an Administrative Director, Mental Health and Addictions, Urgent & Acute Care to join our leadership team to provide innovative direction and leadership of the Mental Health and Addictions program. You will lead by example to establish a culture of organizational excellence that strives to improve the quality of work life for staff, volunteers and physician partners, and the advancement of the patient and family centered care culture.
As a systems thinker you will utilize your clinical acumen and vision to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to support excellence in patient care and sustain patient flow. You are a key thinker on workplace violence response/initiatives with strong change management skills to transform interdisciplinary staffing models that combine mental health and addictions expertise on inpatient units. A strong clinical background and interpersonal skills will be required to lead and support team members including highly engaged psychiatrists and addictions medicine providers.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Health or Business Administration, or in a related health care field from an accredited university. The successful candidate must also have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in a leadership/supervisor role or senior clinical position. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in the mental health and addiction sector is required. In addition, experience working effectively with individual physicians and physician groups and training or recent experience in financial management and budget development is required. Work experience in leading capital projects and managing risk is considered a strong asset for this role.
