As Lead, Professional Practice Strategy - Rehab you will promote excellence in rehabilitation services and professional practice throughout NH and provide leadership for implementing and sustaining professional practice for quality client care. The incumbent engages in and manages various projects, including those included in NH’s Business Plan, to enhance practice, support rehabilitation professionals by facilitating adherence to professional standards and guidelines, and provide direction and leadership regarding education and research initiatives.

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech Language Pathology;
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years recent related experience including at least five (5) at an advanced professional or management level;
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Current practicing registration with an applicable regulatory body/association.
  • Experience in advocacy for rehabilitation services at a regional or provincial level an asset.
