The Vice President of Support Services and Chief Financial Officer (VP/CFO) is an innovative, strategic leader who plays a key role in guiding the organization in a collaborative, accountable, and aligned quality-focused culture balanced with effective financial stewardship. Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the VP/CFO develops strategies that result in the efficient utilization of financial resources; translates the organization’s strategic directions into outcomes; and collaborates with the Executive Leadership Team to enhance the quality of care delivered, fosters a positive workplace culture and healthy work environment, and builds effective partnerships internally and externally. 

The preferred candidate will possess 5-7 years of progressive management and professional experience in an acute care hospital setting or other healthcare organization. With superior knowledge of current trends in health care, including system transformation, Ontario Health Teams, and integrated models of care and service, the VP/CFO will bring superior knowledge of financial analysis/reporting, accounting principles and practices, and demonstrated experience related to audit and year-end financial statements. A professional accounting designation is required, and evidence of ongoing professional development; a relevant Master’s degree is preferred.
