Maltby Centre is the lead regional agency for Mental Health and Autism Services, with an experienced and compassionate team of professionals who provide high-quality, community-based health and support services to children and youth in Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington (KFL&A). Established in 1996 and formerly known as Pathways for Children & Youth - Maltby Centre is a registered charity and not-for-profit funded in part by the Ontario government. In this newly created role based out of Kingston, Ontario, the Director of Finance and Corporate Services (Director) is a key member of the Maltby Centre Senior Leadership Team supporting the management, implementation, and execution of the strategic plan. Reporting through to the Executive Director, the Director works collaboratively with the Executive Director in supporting the Maltby Centre Board of Directors including the Finance, Audit, and Risk Committee. They are responsible and accountable for overseeing all financial systems within the organization, payroll, insurance, procurement, decision support, information technology, legal and risk management, facilities and property management.
The ideal candidate will bring to this exciting role a University Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business/Public Administration or related discipline and current Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. They will also bring extensive experience: with Ministry of Health (and/or MCCSS reporting an asset); overseeing IT services/legal/risk management; with financial and performance benchmarking. Supported by a minimum seven (7) years’ relevant experience, including five (5) years’ progressively responsible corporate services management experience working in a unionized public-sector organization.
