The Executive Director, Redevelopment and Facility Management Services will provide overall strategic and operational leadership for helping to realize Baycrest’s campus of the future. The Executive Director will work in collaborative partnership with clinical and operational leaders to deliver outstanding customer service and enable Baycrest’s goal of introducing innovative residential and health care delivery models for older adults and their families. To help achieve this goal, the Executive Director will be an integral and influential leader in envisioning and implementing a campus redevelopment strategy that can build on Baycrest’s focus on providing better care and better opportunities for an aging population. Working with key partners, the Executive Director will be instrumental in creating the strategy, mapping out the approach and leading the execution of an integrated approach to master/campus planning.
Inherent in the role will be the ability of the Executive Director to lead Baycrest’s continued agenda of service expansion, intergenerational community engagement and the creation of a globally recognized “seniors-friendly” neighbourhood. In partnership with the Executive Vice President, the Executive Director will play a key role in developing and fostering successful strategic partnerships with the Baycrest Foundation, government, the community, and broader operations.

The successful candidate will have at least five to seven years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in a similarly complex multi-site health care environment, with experience in capital planning, project execution and/or facility management. They will have demonstrated their ability to manage large projects, effectively engage key stakeholders, while meeting key milestones and deadlines. In addition, the candidate will be an exceptional communicator and relationship builder, effectively promoting collaboration and managing change.
