The Executive Manager of Human Resources and Physician Recruitment is accountable for the administration of human resource services, policies and programs for the following areas; Employee Relations, Labour Management, Selection and Recruitment (including physician recruitment), Training and Development, Occupational Health and Safety, Employee Health, Pay and Benefits, and Volunteer Services. Reporting to the President and CEO, the Executive Manager of Human Resources will serve as a member of the executive management team; assisting and advising management about Human Resources related issues.

The Hanover and District Hospital provides a full range of primary care hospital services and selected secondary care services to the population of Hanover and the surrounding rural municipalities.
The original hospital was established in 1923 and a new acute care hospital was built in 1973. It is a state of the art facility with a 24 hour Emergency Department.
