Under the general direction of the Vice President of Patient Care Services/ Chief Nursing Officer, the Patient Care Manager is continuously responsible for the management of the appropriate departments. The Patient Care Manager oversees the direction and supervision of their functions and activities in providing patient care as determined by patient needs and medical direction.

The original hospital was established in 1923 and a new acute care hospital was built in 1973. It is a state of the art facility with a 24 hour Emergency Department.
