Fraser Health is the fastest growing health region in British Columbia. We are located in the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada, one of the best places in the world to live. We invite you to join us and contribute to world class, integrated critical care at these hospitals:
Surgical Services are provided at ten Fraser Health hospitals with general and specialized services such as Cardiac, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Trauma, Plastics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology, Gynecology, Vascular, Thoracic, and C-sections. Recent improvements include technologically-advanced ORs at some locations, such as advanced Endoscopy and Laser Surgery capabilities (unique to Canada). Some services are centralized regionally with the Hip and Knee Centre at Burnaby Hospital, Eye Care Centre at Chilliwack Hospital, and Neurosciences tertiary referral as well as Cardiovascular and Trauma Centre located at Royal Columbian Hospital.
We’re building now for tomorrow: The Critical Care Tower has increased Surrey Memorial Hospital to 650 beds in 2014, providing a dedicated regional Perinatal Centre, helipad, expanded ICU, as well as a new Emergency Department. As a Post-Anesthetic Care Nurse, you have post-basic training and experience in post-anesthetic care nursing. You must be eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (www.crnbc.ca) in order to qualify for these opportunities. We have positive and caring work environments where you can bring your passion for post-anesthetic care nursing and be part of our team. Fraser Health offers you a comprehensive benefits package that includes four weeks vacation, family extended health and dental coverage, and a defined-benefit pension plan.
Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 may be provided.
