Trillium Health Partners was formed in 2011 through the voluntary merger of Credit Valley Hospital and Trillium Health Centre, two large and forward-looking academic community hospitals. The new entity (or facility) is the largest community-based hospital in Ontario and, through numerous clinical programs and services, serves a diverse population in western Toronto, Mississauga and beyond that exceeds several million people.

Trillium Health Partners has 1,250+ beds, an operating budget of $1 billion annually, and operates on three main sites with additional services at satellite sites.
Reporting to the Vice President, Patient Care Services, and working in close partnership with the Chief & Medical Director for Neuro/MSK, the successful candidate will play a key role in building and sustaining excellence in the Trillium Health Partners (THP) Neurosciences and Musculoskeletal Program.
The Director will ensure the delivery of high quality care for patients and their families across several sites and in all portfolio areas, including inpatient Stroke (Acute and Rehab), Neurosurgery, and Orthopaedics, Fracture Clinics, Outpatient Neuro Rehab, Outpatient Post-Op Total Join Physiotherapy, Neurology Clinics, Neurodiagnostics, WSIB services, and Stroke Prevention Clinic.
The portfolio includes the Regional Stroke Program, Regional Neurosurgery Program, Neurology, and Orthopaedics in a multi-site hospital. Services include acute and rehabilitative care in inpatient, ambulatory, and marketed service settings. The Director will have accountability for a broad and diverse range of services and programs and will play a crucial role in achieving the organization’s vision, and strategic initiatives.
Leading a large and multi-disciplinary team, the Director will manage a budget of $22M and ensure the delivery of several initiatives designed to yield high quality care for patients and their families. The Director will play a vital role in building and sustaining excellence in the Regional Stroke, Regional Neurosurgery and Orthopaedics Programs and will lead these programs toward their future goal of becoming a single, integrated system of Neurosurgery/Stroke and Orthopaedic care.
With a commitment to an inter-connected system of care that is organized around the patient, both inside the hospital and beyond its walls, the Director will ensure the exceptional delivery of care to patients. Working co-operatively with physicians, healthcare professionals, community partners and the Mississauga Halton LHIN, the Director will build on previous/current successes of the Program, developing the managers, clinical leaders, and staff, setting patient-centric goals and giving them clarity of purpose.
