Your Opportunity: We are looking for an energetic professional to support High Level, La Crete, Fort Vermilion, Rainbow Lake, Paddle Prairie, and other rural and remote communities as our Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse. In this role, you will provide nursing services to the child & youth psychiatrist caseload. You will also be providing care to clients experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, conducting floor consults, therapeutic sessions, walk-in single sessions and consultations. This is an exciting position with variety in work which will require some day travel to outlying communities in addition to using technology for service delivery. You will use your advanced skills in providing therapy to a vulnerable population. In addition to a competitive rate of pay and excellent benefits, AHS currently offers: Northern Allowance to an annual maximum of $6,300. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
