The Float R.N. will report to the Unit Manager - Medical The Manager on Call will be responsible for the assignment of the Float R.N. who has not been placed by Staffing Office or if there is a discrepancy in placements. All nursing departments [Medical, Surgical, CCP 1, CCP 2, Emergency, Palliative, ICU (if stable patients)] will be supported by the Float R.N. with the exception of Obstetrics and the OR/PAR. Orientation will be based on the individual needs of the successful candidate. HOURS OF WORK Must be available for 12 hour shifts, days and nights, Monday to Sunday. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the ONA Collective Agreement.
