The Position Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide leadership in the development and implementation of finance and business strategies, enabling Plexxus to achieve its mission and realize opportunities for further growth. As part of the Senior Management Team, the CFO will be accountable for the planning and management of finance, accounting, forecasting, strategic and business planning, and data management & governance. Key leadership initiatives for the new CFO will be to: Actively contribute, as part of the Senior Management Team, to the development and implementation of a proactive business strategy, enabling Plexxus to realize opportunities for further growth and value-added service. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and strategic growth. Develop and empower a high-performing team while fostering collaborative engagement, leadership development and mentorship. Provide strategic and operational leadership regarding financial opportunities and challenges, projected growth, investment and business planning, and risk management initiatives. Continue to advance key stakeholder relationships with colleagues, member hospital executives and staff, and external partners to ensure support for strategic directions and business initiatives, a well as alignment with the changing provincial health care landscape. Work closely with team members to create a service and performance delivery culture. Experience The successful candidate will have at least 8 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience ideally in health care, shared services and/or a similarly complex multi-stakeholder environment. The candidate will be a change agent, inspiring leader and an engaged team player while possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and strong business acumen. This is an influential customer-facing leadership role that requires someone that excels at driving operational efficiency and business strategy in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
