Reporting to the EVP, People and Culture and CHRO, this role will provide strategic and senior operational oversight of the People Safety and Transformation priorities of the portfolio. The Sinai Health People Plan includes all in our community including employees, learners, physicians, scientists and volunteers. The incumbent will be a sophisticated and seasoned health and transformation leader that has extensive knowledge of the health care sector, hospital environments and systemic organizational change and transformation. The Vice President will lead within a distributed leadership model and will act as a key integrator and driver of all people quality mandates ensuring strong alignment among key organizational drivers such as Sinai Health’s People Plan, Academic Practice Plan, Quality Improvement Plan, as well as the recently launched Purpose and Values mandate. Day-to-day, this role will oversee the Human Resources, Organizational Development and People Engagement, Occupational Health and Safety, as well as the Volunteer Resources teams. The Vice President is responsible and accountable for ensuring that operating plan objectives, financial, performance and quality targets are met within their portfolio and will also provide ongoing advice and support to peers across Sinai Health to meet these accountabilities. In partnership with Senior Leadership and their teams, the Vice President will foster an environment that is conducive to collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and safe, quality, person centered care. As a dynamic leader engaged in all levels of organizational change and priorities, the incumbent also plays a critical role in aligning functions of their portfolio with the broader Sinai Health System to promote organizational integration and transformation, and compliance with long range objectives and strategies, including the provision of excellent quality services. As an adept strategic thinker, with an earned reputation for developing both people and processes, the preferred candidate is well experienced leading large scale corporate strategic initiatives. The Vice President is an expert in organizational transformation, skilled in bringing change from concept to reality. The Vice President has an earned reputation as someone who can effectively collaborate with clinical and hospital leadership and translate organizational drivers into reality. The successful incumbent is Master’s prepared with a demonstrated a commitment to personal and professional development. The preferred candidate has a minimum of ten years of progressive hospital change and transformation experience in a complex organization providing people transformation and cross-organizational change stewardship expertise, as well as, strategic leadership surrounding best in class psychological and physical people safety. Excellent communication and building effective relationships with internal and external partners are also essential to be successful in this role. Human Resources knowledge and experience is a preference.
