Reference: 19-RN Medical Programs Rate: $33.23-$47.57 Position Summary: The role of the Registered Nurse (RN) at Providence Care is to deliver safe, effective person centred care to assigned patients in a non-acute setting, requiring rehabilitation, complex care and palliative care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and the Standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario. Working at full scope of practice, the overall function of the RN is to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the clinical conditions and transition of the patient and to enhance the quality of life by meeting the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each person. Required Qualifications and Experience: Diploma in Nursing and current unrestricted Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. B.Sc.N preferred. Current CPR certification Nursing Diploma from an approved University or College, BNsc preferred. Experience with care of the ventilated patient, an asset.
