Are you graduating soon or a newly graduated Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse? You're hired!

In this role, some of your duties will include:

  • assess, record and report the health status of assigned patients/residents
  • collaborate with the nursing team, community care partners, and the patient/resident and family to develop and modify a patient/resident care plan
  • establish short and long-term health status goals
  • provide nursing care
  • evaluate patient/resident response to the care by assessing the effect of the nursing interventions identified in the care plan and modifying interventions as appropriate
  • contribute to the ongoing development of the nursing department and/or nursing unit
  • perform other related duties as assigned.

The hourly starting salary is $41.42 with additional shift premiums that are offered depending on eligibility. You are eligible for shift premiums if you own a regular line, or during hours worked that were on-call, nights, evenings and weekends. Some nursing positions qualify for up to a $20,000 signing bonus.

To join our team, you will have:

  • Eligibility for provisional licensure or current and active registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing RN registrant or a practicing RPN registrant.
  • Recognized post-basic education required for some clinical areas (or equivalent).
  • Basic Life Support, Level C.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required for some clinical settings (e.g. Emergency Room).
