As partner hospitals exploring voluntary integration, Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll (AHI) and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital (TDMH) are breaking new ground in the region for delivering progressive, high quality health care with an integrated team of leaders and a Joint Board of Directors. Alexandra Hospital has served Ingersoll and the surrounding areas for over 100 years. Over the years the services provided have changed, and they continue to change to meet the needs of the population while providing the highest standards of quality care to patients and families. Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is a progressive, fully accredited community hospital that provides both inpatient and outpatient care to a population of 45,000 in Tillsonburg and surrounding areas. TDMH’s actions are guided by promoting continuous improvement, fostering safe and compassionate care, using resources wisely and cultivating an environment of trust and respect.  Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital are committed to providing exceptional patient care in their service area. Together, their  annual operating budget is approximately $56 million.

The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for the overall operation of both hospitals, alongside an Integrated Senior Management Team. The CEO will advance the organization’s three strategic priorities:

  1. Create an Integrated Health Hub Patient Experience
  2. Build for Connectivity, Innovation and Sustainability
  3. Support Our People to Provide the Best Care and Create Connections

Working with a Joint Board of Directors, the President and CEO will be responsible for developing a compelling and innovative vision, ensuring that the organization is driven by the priorities of quality and patient-centred care.

Having exemplary communication skills and the courage of his/her convictions, the candidate sought will champion the organization’s “brand” and make strategy come alive through thoughtful operational execution. The candidate sought will nurture and leverage the talents of staff in both Hospitals to cultivate a culture of inclusivity, empowerment and enthusiasm. Possessing solid business acumen and financial sophistication, the President and CEO will be conversant with the operational and clinical performance metrics valued by a small community hospital. The preferred candidate will have progressive health care management experience, a good understanding of the small community hospital model, as well as experience with multi-site hospitals.
