Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, this newly created foundational leadership role will provide strategic direction and thought leadership necessary to ensure sound decision-making and oversight of Ontario Health’s Strategy and Planning Portfolio, as well as to define and champion Ontario Health’s vision, mission and values. This is an exciting opportunity to shape, develop and deliver key foundational strategic planning and performance frameworks, programs, and policies within Ontario Health and across the Ontario health system, as well as to provide leadership and expertise on multiple high-impact corporate and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader in the health care sector, with a master’s degree in business, political science, health or a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant leadership experience within the health care sector or similarly complex service delivery. You possess knowledge and expertise in leading, developing, implementing and managing strategic, corporate and operational planning and performance frameworks, systems and processes. You have demonstrated success in leading significant transformation initiatives and have a clear commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and anti-racism.
