What we need:
Reporting to the President and CEO, the Vice President of Finance and Operations provides strategic guidance, operational leadership, oversight and monitoring for all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and decision support for Markham Stouffville Hospital. In addition to finance, this portfolio may include Information Technology & Systems, Telecommunications, Decision Support, Health Records and Patient Registration/Scheduling, Medical Affairs, Human Resources and other areas as assigned. The exact portfolio specifications will be aligned to the skill set and experience of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will optimize efficiency and performance within his/her portfolio including developing short and long-term financial plans and identifying financial opportunities. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and will prepare, present and interpret financial and performance reports for management, the Board, and external agencies as well as help develop and implement strategic priorities, policies, procedures, and systems for the hospital(s) overall financial health. Additionally, this role will play an important role in developing and implementing the future growth strategy for the organization in alignment with strategic priorities and in collaboration with the clinical portfolios.
