Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Innovation & Strategic Partnerships, we are recruiting a Senior Manager, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships  for a 14-month contract. The role will be based in our Richmond Hill office and, require travel to our other offices as well as to hospital and government sites. The role is broadly responsible for the following:


  • Together with a team of Project Analysts:
    • act as a primary interface between Innovation & Strategic Partnerships (I&SP) and Plexxus Sourcing as well as Mohawk Plexxus Sourcing Collaborative (MPSC)
    • support hospital requirements related to clinical bundling and Ontario Health Teams (OHT’s)
    • conduct groundwork to qualify innovative and/or strategic opportunities and make recommendations to the hospitals and Plexxus team(s) on which to pursue
      • working closely with Sourcing staff to support implementation of innovative hospital strategic sourcing initiatives
      • coordinating updates and communications amongst hospitals, Account Management and Sourcing functions
    • Manage a team of Contract Administrators:
      • directly manage the Customer Hospital Contract Administration (CA) team (based out of our Richmond Hill office)



  • Experienced people manager
  • Familiarity with Plexxus Sourcing, Contract Management and other Plexxus services
  • Knowledge of Plexxus Member and Customer hospital service models essential
  • Demonstrated track record interacting with Hospital C-Suite stakeholders
  • Excellent customer/stakeholder relationship and engagement skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) capabilities
  • Excellent contract negotiation and writing skills
  • 5-10 years’ experience in progressively more senior roles, preferably in the healthcare sector/industry
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing new concepts and driving change
  • Experience in complex strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience working in fast pace/changing environments requiring the need to take feedback and direction in order to pivot on a chosen approach
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a matrixed environment
  • University degree required
