Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative and energetic leader with relevant experience working in Critical and Emergency Care. The incumbent will be required to balance critical and emergency care demands simultaneously while driving improvement and change in a high-paced and complex program. The candidate will assume overall responsibility for quality care and service excellence through the promotion and adherence to provincial standards, focusing on achieving positive patient and family experiences and aligning program resources to achieve quality goals and accreditation standards.

The successful candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent from an accredited university and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in a leadership/supervisory role or senior clinical position, preferably in a health care environment. The successful candidate must have clinical experience working as a regulated Health Profession, experience working with individual physicians and physicians groups as well as training or recent experience with financial management and budget development. In addition, a current Certificate of Registration in good standing or the ability to meet eligibility criteria as a Health Professional from an Ontario Professional Association or regulatory college is required.
