Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital creates a world of possibility by supporting children and youth living with disability, medical complexity, illness and injury. Holland Bloorview is a top 40 Canadian research hospital that is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and serves over 7,500 families annually. Providing both inpatient and a broad range of ambulatory programs and services, Holland Bloorview is renowned for its expertise in partnering with clients and families to provide exceptional care and is the only hospital to ever achieve 100 per cent in two successive quality surveys by Accreditation Canada. Holland Bloorview is a founding member of Kids Health Alliance, a network of partners working to create a high quality, consistent and coordinated approach to pediatric health care that is centred around children, youth and their families.
Established in 1899, Holland Bloorview is located in Toronto, serves children and youth from across Ontario and Canada, and is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. The children the hospital sees each year live with over 2,000 unique diagnoses, including brain injury, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, autism spectrum disorder and developmental delay. A holistic approach is taken to assist young people in achieving their goals. This includes physical and cognitive development as well as life skills such as employment readiness, transitioning to adult services and friendship. Children and youth also have access to programming in music, arts, fitness, and technology.

Holland Bloorview is searching for a new Vice President Programs and Services & CNE to join the senior management team. The new VP/CNE will merge practice excellence with programs and services operations to advance No Boundaries outcomes. Building on an ambitious vision for the best of nursing this leader will continue to advance a Holland Bloorview nursing vision embedded within a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation context. The successful candidate will be a graduate prepared Nurse, with 10+ years of leadership experience in a complex, integrated health care setting, ideally providing care to the child and youth population. If you are not currently working with children & youth, you will possess a passion for this population and an understanding of the unique needs of our clients and their families.
You possess a fundamental belief that the best care can only be delivered when all employees are working to their full scope of practice. You have an appreciation for research and evidence-based practices and the delivery of care within an academic health setting. At your core, you have a leadership style that is empowering, compassionate, visionary, creative, and collaborative. You are a strategist and someone who rolls up their sleeves to get the job done.
