Osler and its many community partners have formally been announced as the Brampton/ Etobicoke Area Ontario Health Team (OHT). This exciting development positions Osler to take the lead, regionally and provincially, in setting the bar for a new way of organizing and delivering care. In anticipation of continual growth in the communities served by Osler, capital expansion plans are also underway.

Reporting directly to the Director, Medicine, Critical Care and Respiratory Therapy Services the Clinical Services Manager is a key member of the Medicine program’s leadership team. Leading an interprofessional team of passionate and highly skilled clinicians and team members, the Clinical Services Manager is responsible for two service areas within the Medicine program at Brampton Civic site: a General Medicine inpatient unit, as well as a Neurology inpatient unit that will be front and center in the organizations heightened focus on stroke care and re-designing care pathways in partnership with community services.. With a focus on quality and experience, the Clinical Services Manager will have overall accountability for ensuring that patient care is provided safely and competently, and that human, fiscal and material resources are managed effectively.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader, with a vision to create a learning culture, empower staff, develop processes and remove barriers that will enable best in class patient care and experience. We are looking for a critical thinking leader that has a strong business acumen, supports innovation and has an appetite for data and analytics to support strategic priorities as well as the expansion of service delivery.
We are seeking a dynamic clinical operations leader who has a demonstrated history of achieving results from the perspective of quality, operations and developing high-performing teams, in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of hospital and community-based care. The incumbent will be tasked with raising the bar with respect to practice standards and exploring potential new models of care and partnerships through an expansion of bundled care. Through this lens we look to develop and implement new processes or quality improvement initiatives, in collaboration with organizational and community partners.
