Senior Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer

St. Lawrence College is seeking a proven leader and executive as its new Senior Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer.

Reporting to the President and CEO, and as a member of the College Executive Team (CET), the Senior Vice President, Corporate Services and CFO will provide executive-level leadership, management, planning, support and counsel to ensure the continued strength, sustainability and integrity of the College’s operations into the future. The Senior Vice President will provide leadership, and management to the staff and administrators accountable for Financial Services (which includes contracted services for the bookstore, residence, food services, event and conference services, cleaning and security), Information Technology Services, Risk Management and Facility Management Services. Additionally, the Senior Vice President will hold an appointment as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of both the Board of Governors and the College’s Foundation. The Senior Vice President will champion and enable a number of important College objectives and projects over the next few years, including the implementation of a new ERP system, the creation of a Campus Master Plan, and establishment of a new downtown Kingston Campus.

The successful candidate will possess relevant academic and professional credentials (a professional accounting designation is preferred) in addition to at least 15 years of proven, senior corporate services leadership and management experience within the public sector. Experience working with, and reporting at the Board level is essential. The successful candidate will be strategic, emotionally intelligent, confident, collaborative and an excellent communicator, with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to successfully lead positive change. The salary range for this role is $142,935 - $190,580 (Salary band 17). The compensation package includes a performance-based incentive program and a comprehensive benefit package. Starting salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
