To support this vision, Women’s College Hospital is seeking a Vice President, Patient Care and Ambulatory Innovation.

Reporting to the CEO, and as a member of the executive team, the Vice President, Patient Care and Ambulatory Innovation is responsible for leading a revolution in new models of care in the ambulatory space to achieve the Quadruple Aim. In partnership with the Chief Medical Executive, the VP is responsible for providing the overall leadership, direction, management and coordination for all clinical programs in concert with the organization’s Mission, Vision, Values, Goals, and Objectives. You will establish and maintain systems to ensure patient, clinical and safety needs are met in an efficient manner by operating all facilities in compliance with all provincial and local requirements. Working collaboratively with your colleagues on the executive team, you will create a culture of service excellence and are responsible for leading a professional clinical environment and systems and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care within available resources.

As the ideal candidate, you are highly strategic and possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills that will allow you to collaborate with all stakeholders within Women’s College Hospital, its external partners and suppliers. You have extensive experience leading and developing a team, preferably in an academic, interprofessional ambulatory care setting. You are an innovative, analytic and strategic health care executive who has experience implementing and activating quality patient care programs. You are a skilled administrator who communicates effectively, delegates and creates an atmosphere that empowers your teams to thrive. You hold a graduate degree in a relevant area.
