Job Description

We are currently seeking a relief part time (0.73) Long Term Care Nurse to join our team at Deni House in Williams Lake.

Deni House provides excellent residential care in a home-like environment overlooking the City of Williams Lake in the heart of the Cariboo. We are located adjacent to Cariboo Memorial Hospital.

The name “Deni House” was chosen for its significance to the Cariboo. Deni House means “A House for Our People.” Deni House is home to 19 permanent residents and includes 9 short-stay beds offering respite, convalescent and palliative care.

The RN or RPN practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the RN or RPN ensures the delivery of resident–centered care by assisting individual residents and their families respond to changing health care needs.

Shifts of work will be days; weekends and STATS 07:00 to 15:00 and weekdays and non-STATS 09:00 to 17:00. This relief position is scheduled to end April 4, 2020 or return of the incumbent.
