One (1) Permanent Full Time Enterprise Risk Management Advisor

The Enterprise Risk Management Advisor is responsible for coordinating the enterprise risk management program at Osler. This includes coordinating the enterprise-wide risk register (risk identification and risk mitigation) and supporting the risk management program at the unit and program level (risk identification and risk mitigation). In addition, the Enterprise Risk Management Advisor provides support and expert advice to front-line staff, managers, directors, and senior team members on issues related to incident management, critical incident review, risk management, and patient safety.
The Enterprise Risk Management Advisor must be someone who is able to approach problems and issues from both a detail-oriented and systems-wide perspective. The incumbent must also be able to determine best practices and advise on the implementation of best practices with respect to risk management. In addition, they must be effective at critical analysis for the development of risk identification and risk mitigation exercises. Finally, they must also be able to analyze data and draw conclusions from those data to inform patient safety decisions.
