Toronto Grace is renowned for compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with multifaceted chronic diseases who require Complex Continuing Care, Post Acute Care Rehabilitation and Palliative Care. Toronto Grace Health Centre is seeking its next President & CEO.
The President & CEO is responsible for the overall operational and financial management of the Toronto Grace Health Centre. The President & CEO provides leadership, counsel and guidance in planning and directing the TGHC in accordance with the mission, vision and values of TGHC.
Reporting to and working as a partner with the Board of Trustees and the Salvation Army Governing Council, the President & CEO will contribute to the development and refinement of the strategy and vision for the organization. With corporate values that include compassion, respect, excellence, integrity, relevance, co-operation and celebration, TGHC is seeking a President & CEO with like values and the skills and experience to lead TGHC. The President & CEO oversees the development and execution of short and long term priorities, objectives and strategies necessary for the success of the organization.
The President & CEO will be responsible for crafting the next phase of the Strategic Plan while continuing to broaden and strengthen the reputation of TGHC as a critical provider of clinical programs and services within the broader health care context. Strategic partnerships will be essential as will be a focus on establishing clinical expertise aligned to the Strategic Plan. As an ideal candidate you are a proven health care executive with clinical leadership experience, who is adept at navigating a complex governance structure and stakeholder group, skilled at building system partnerships, and motivated by making an impact and seeing the outcomes of their work. In addition, the President & CEO is highly visible within the organization and engaged in “hands-on” work, which will require the ability to build trust, credibility and respect quickly. They must embrace, empathize and support the faith based value of The Salvation Army’s mission. An open and transparent approach are a must.
