President & Chief Executive Officer

A leader in health care innovation, Women’s College Hospital (WCH) is changing the way health care is delivered, creating better patient experiences and greater system capacity.  The mission of WCH is to advance and advocate for the health of women and improve healthcare options for all by researching, teaching and delivering new treatments and models of integrated care in an ambulatory setting. WCH champions equitable access to healthcare for people from diverse cultures and backgrounds with a patient centered approach.  Fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and a member of the Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network (TAHSN), the hospital’s mandate focuses on excellence in research and educating future health care leaders and clinicians. The Hospital is deeply committed to quality, and recently received the highest possible ranking from Accreditation Canada, Accreditation with Exemplary Standing. We are seeking a new CEO to advance Women’s College Hospital’s unique mission and continue to build its global reputation.

Women’s College Hospital’s research is supported by two unique research institutes. The WCH Institute for Health System Solutions and Virtual Care (WIHV) develops and evaluates new, scalable models of care to deliver improved outcomes for patients and sustainable solutions for the broader health system. WIHV has the provincial health mandate to evaluate digital health care applications to enable greater levels of virtual care.   A global leader in women's health, the Women’s College Research Institute (WCRI) is tackling some of the greatest health challenges of our time.

As the new President and CEO of Women’s College Hospital, you will build on the strengths of an organization which has accomplished so much in a short time and take it to the next level of success. You are widely recognized as a strategic systems thinker who can identify and seize opportunities, build collaborative partnerships and execute effectively. For this transformational role you must have demonstrated your ability to motivate, align and empower your teams to take enthusiastic ownership of a bold vision and make it come alive. Whether you are a senior leader in an academic health centre or an equally demanding, client-focused public-sector organization, you have won the respect of your people for your vision, business acumen, relentless pursuit of excellence and ability to deliver results. With a reputation for attracting, retaining and inspiring the best talent, you believe that people are an organization’s greatest strength, ensure ongoing investment and mentoring of your teams and enhancing a strong organizational culture of excellence and innovation. If this describes you and your next career challenge includes leading an exceptional organization in the delivery of aspirational goals, we would like to talk to you.
