Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, you will serve as one of two senior vice-presidents at Health Sciences North (HSN), Northern Ontario’s largest hospital belonging to the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario (CAHO).

 You will accept this role at an exciting time in HSN’s evolution. A new 2019-2024 strategic plan will be approved in January 2019 while a digital health strategy will be finalized in March 2019 and an updated capital master plan will be approved in May 2019.

  • Vice-President, Cancer and Clinical Support;
  • Associate Vice-President, Health Promotion;

  • Director, Quality and Patient Safety.

 Minor adjustments may be made to the portfolio based on the profile of the selected candidate.

You will champion readiness for HSN’s 2019 accreditation, the implementation of Board-approved targets in HSN’s annual Quality Improvement Plan and of a proposed regional electronic medical record.

 The applications of candidates holding at least a master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years of leadership experience in health care leading clinical staff at the director, associate vice-president, vice-president or CEO level will be considered.
