The South West LHIN is accountable for engaging and inspiring health care providers, patients and their families, volunteers and the public in a significant health system transformation. By bringing together stakeholders in our area, the South West LHIN is creating a seamless continuum of high quality care for the patients and families that we serve. This is an exciting time for the SW LHIN and this opportunity represents a pivotal career challenge for the talented leader that we seek.
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will lead a passionate and committed team through change and stimulate partnerships with Health Service Providers, Primary Care Physicians and five public health units across the region. You will continue to drive the implementation of the Patients First Legislation and foster innovative collaborative efforts across all providers, creating greater system capacity and, ultimately, better care for patients. Your overall accountability includes the planning, coordination, integration and funding of all health services for a very large, diverse population.
To make the biggest impact, you will be a visionary leader who believes that the only way to deliver on an ambitious mandate is by inspiring and mobilizing teams to be accountable for driving change and innovation. You are a courageous and compassionate leader. You prioritize improving the patient experience and creating simplified care pathways for people in southwestern Ontario. You are widely recognized as a systems thinker who is adept in building collaborative partnerships and a relentless pursuit of the highest quality of client service.
