Nursing Resource Unit- Paediatric Sub Specialties (NICU, PCCU and Children’s Emergency) - Victoria Hospital
The Nursing Resource Unit (NRU) operates within the Professional Practice portfolio under the strategic leadership of the Director of Professional Practice. A Coordinator provides the day-to-day leadership and direction for the team along with a dedicated Clinical Educator. The NRU is a staffing team made up of registered nurses whose shifts are assigned to clinical areas to meet appropriate staffing requirements. NRU nurses respond to needs based on patient acuity, replacement of sick time, vacation relief, and known vacancies. The Members of the NRU for the Paediatric sub specialties have the opportunity to work on a variety of clinical areas (NICU, PCCU, and Children’s Emergency Department) , and experience a variety of learning opportunities in a supportive environment. Nurses for the NRU - Paediatric Sub Specialties are provided with a comprehensive orientation and competency development program.

Rate of Pay: $32.21 per hour - $46.11 per hour
