In the summer, don’t forget to take in our long summer nights with a round of golf at our local golf course. For the winter months, you can keep up with your activities by walking or running on our indoor track or skating on the lakes. The hamlets of Wabasca, Desmarais and surrounding area with the Bigstone Band Cree Nation reserves are located approximately 300 km from St. Albert and Edmonton with a population of around 5,500. Oil, gas, and forestry are our main industries in the area. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000.
