The Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre located in Amherst, Nova Scotia is presently seeking Registered Nurses or Graduate Nurses (full time and part time) to join their Medical Unit team. The team consists of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Acute Care Assistants working collaboratively to provide quality care to serve the patients of their 39 bed unit. The team is supported by a Manager, Patient Care Leader as well as Clinical Nurse Educators. Joining bonuses of $10,000 and relocation assistance may be available with a commitment of service.
The Registered Nurse is accountable as a direct provider, coordinator, and advocate of client-centered care. As coordinator of care the Registered Nurse develops, records, delegates, monitors, and evaluates the plan of care. The Registered Nurse collaborates with colleague health providers, the client, and family to facilitate a safe, thorough, and satisfactory care experience.
Hours of Work
Positions consist of a 12 hour shift rotation, which may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
$32.8441 - $38.6964 hourly
$40.0507 hourly with 25 yrs RN experience
