Michael Garron Hospital is seeking to add a Deputy Chief Financial Officer to their team.
Under the general direction of the VP Corporate Support & CFO, the Deputy Chief Financial Officer is responsible to lead, inspire and elevate the performance of the finance team. In this challenging and fast-paced role, the Deputy CFO shall ensure sound business practices to steer and evolve the finance team to achieve organizational goals. In addition to the traditional financial leadership, the Deputy CFO will support a number of critical projects to evolve the financial sophistication of the organization. In this role, you will be a strong visionary leader with deep hospital knowledge.
The Deputy Chief Financial Officer will have a minimum 10 years financial management experience in a hospital setting with demonstrated experience in matters including budgeting, forecasting, HSFR, case costing and MIS as well as government fiscal policy and capital planning. The Deputy CFO will provide key financial oversight, driving strategic and innovative financial planning and analytics in a climate of complex fiscal challenges. The dynamic leader will possess a recognized professional accounting designation, CA preferred, along with relationship-building and communication skills to build trust and confidence with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
