This is an exciting leadership opportunity to join Joseph Brant Hospital as it enters the next stage in its cultural transformation. Joseph Brant Hospital has recently opened a fabulous new patient tower and is getting ready to launch a new Corporate Strategic Plan along with a new Human Resource People Strategy. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources & CHRO, the Director of Human Resources is a respectful, honest, optimistic, and resilient Human Resource Professional who deeply understands how the Human Resources function enables the organization to fully engage its people, and enhances organizational capacity. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, a progressive thinker with high energy, who can influence, inspire and motivate the HR team to deliver on the People Strategy for the Hospital, ensuring all goals and objectives are actioned and realized.
With a minimum of 8 years of progressive HR management experience, ideally in a hospital or related health care environment, the successful candidate will possess expert knowledge and experience across all functional areas of HR, including employee and labour relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits, health, safety and wellness, HR policy, learning and organizational development. The preferred candidate will possess, at a minimum, an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, or related field, with a speciality in HR Management. A CHRL or CHRP designation is preferred.
