You will have oversight and be accountable for the leadership of long-term care homes in key markets. The VP could be located in Alberta, Manitoba, or Ontario. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Resident Care Operations, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Long-Term Care Homes: Help lead the transformation of the Long-Term Care business and implement a vision for the future of senior care in Canada. Foster a supportive and collaborative culture, focusing on driving continuous improvement, innovation, and will proactively drive initiatives to provide industry-leading resident, family, and team member experience. Engage with the provincial governments, representing the organization as policies relating to the sector continue to evolve. The ideal candidate brings a leadership style that is visionary, creative, collaborative, and supportive of the vision, goals, mission and values of Extendicare: You are an engaging communicator, driven by system enhancement and proactive continuous quality improvement and comfortable with challenging the status quo. You enable your team to identify and address issues and foster a creative and curious approach to enhancing the resident, family and team member experience through a passionate commitment to seniors living and quality care. You are highly skilled in all aspects of clinical operations, patient and family relations and operations experience that will translate to our setting, You bring strong relationships with government and hospital partners.
