As the Registered Nurse for our renal outpatient clinic you will work in collaboration within a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of client centered care by assisting clients and families experiencing chronic kidney disease, respond to their changing healthcare needs. This is a combined Peritoneal Dialysis and Home Hemodialysis nursing position providing education, training and ongoing support in a clinic setting as well as in the promotion of independent dialysis. Days of work are Monday to Thursday from 08:00-16:00 with Fridays, weekends off. Qualifications Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP). Successful completion of recognized advanced clinical preparation in the assigned renal specialty area plus two years recent related experience in the assigned renal specialty area, (which may include experience in chronic kidney disease, peritoneal dialysis, home hemodialysis and/or organ transplantation depending on the assigned clinical area) and one year recent related teaching experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current BCLS certification required. Valid BC Driver’s License required.
