This position has on-site education support to develop the skills needed to meet the rural RN job description. This position is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, you will ensure the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.   CVH is a rural acute care hospital with 20 inpatient beds and a 10 bed emergency department on a 12 hour shift day/night rotation. We have a dynamic team of RNs and LPNs working in a supportive learning environment and provide placements for the UBC and UBCO medical programs for medical students and residents. We provide 24/7 inpatient and emergency room care and there is physiotherapist, occupational therapist and dietitian services on site. The Operating Room is open 3 days a week. Come and join us! Current Fetal Health Surveillance (FHS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 2 years. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
