As the Mental Health Nurse, you will provide urgent outreach, responsive assessment and treatment, case management, GP shared care, education, and support to individuals experiencing acute and/or chronic mental illness and/or problem substance use. There are 25 residential beds, x-ray and lab services, home care nursing, home support, mental health and public health at the site. Patients needing higher levels of care are transferred to Kamloops. The city of Kamloops (about an hour's drive) and Vancouver (three and a half hours away) provides urban opportunities. Mental Health and Addictions specialty training would be an asset.
