Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) is the regional referral hospital for the Kootenay Boundary Health Servies Area. Perioperative Services has 5 surgical suites, 1 urology room, and the surgical services performed in here are orthopedic, general, ENT, Gyne/OBS, urology, plastics, dental, and opthamology. Shifts for this position are rotating Days, Evenings, Nights - 07:00 to 15:12, 09:00 to 17:12, 15:00 to 23:12, 11:00 to 19:12. Evening and weekend shifts have call attached. Stat holidays are call shifts and are allocated. Qualifications Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC). Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of perioperative nursing and one year recent related clinical perioperative experience in an operating room similar in size and scope to Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
